After doing some projects using concrete, I was informed by a friend that vibrating it while drying can reduce air bubbles. This is an installation meant to do just that.

 

In the white box lying horizontal on the floor is a PA system. Suspended above it are chains meant to secure a drying concrete mold. 

 

I bass boosted Gucci Mane’s “Trap House 3” and played it for the concrete. The brick that was produced didn’t have much noticeable difference from any of the others I made. But maybe that’s not the point. This brick now has the vibrational energy of Gucci Mane imbedded in it.
